Welcome to Donna Barker Equine Therapy & Rehabilitation.
Donna has a BSc Hons degree (2.1) in Equine Therapy & Rehabilitation awarded by the Royal Agricultural University which she gained from studying at Bishop Burton College. Donna graduated as an Equine Sports & Remedial Massage Practitioner (EMAP Dist) from the Equine Massage Academy (EMA) a UKRS training provider of a Level 5 qualification (equivalent to a Foundation Degree, reaching Level 6 BSc equivalent through CPD education and training) and is certified with LANTRA. Donna graduated as a Practitioner of Equine Shiatsu from the Rosewell Shiatsu Centre. Donna has also qualified as a Certified Equine Craniosacral Technique Therapist through Holistic Animal Studies.
Donna continues to add to her skills through attending regular training, CPD courses and has knowledge of various alternative and natural therapies and remedies. Donna is currently working through some additional qualifications:
Equine Osteopathy with the London College of Animal Osteopathy
Practitioner in Equine Botanical Choices with the Equine Massage Academy
Sure Foot Equine Stability Programme Practitioner.
Donna is also an Instructor for the Equine Massage Academy teaching on CPD days and career courses.
Donna utilises modern technology and science to enhance her range of holistic hands-on therapy services, including PMFT, Photizo Red Light Therapy, Equilibrium Massage pad, Kinesiology Taping, Epiony Heat pad and Thermal Wand, TENS and NMES, and Sure Foot Equine Stability pads.
